I think Manuels flshlight was worst than the talent show because in the talent show nobody laughed at him they thout he was great
ReplyDeleteManuel always follows his heart in what to do. If hes makeing a Flash light or scraching a record he always makes the right choses. I think makeing a flash light then waisted the batery is worse then scratching a record."Manuel presed his thumb to the bulb to the batery,but the batery was dead."

ReplyDeleteI think that the flashlight was woures because when he scrached his record when he was dancing evryone loved it! But when his record he mesed up the flashlight people laghed and snicured at him.
ReplyDeleteI agree with miguel that it was emberasing to keep singing Para Baila La Bamba over and over but i think he should have stopped and said something."Im Glad It didnt break". But it did it got scratched
ReplyDeleteI think that Maual's experiance with the record is worse than the flashlight incedent. Even Mauel thought so "This was worse than the homemade flashlight. At least no one laughed, they just snickered."
ReplyDeleteI think that the experience with the flashlight was worse because during the talent show he still proformed but with the flashlight he had nothing to show so I would think that i would be mor embarresed. "But when Manuel did a fancy dance step, there was a burst of applause and some girls screamed."
ReplyDeleteI think that the flash light experince was worse than when he sang because people knew that he didn't mean to do that and in the talent show nobody knew he messed up and they thought it was funny. "he pressed the wire to the battery but the bulb didn't respond.he pressed until his thumb hurt and some kids in the back stared snickering."
ReplyDeleteI think Manuel's experience with the flashlight was worse because he showed all his friends and neighbors his flashlight and then it doesn't work.With the record it just got stuck and he had to sing "Para bailar la bamba" over and over again, but the audience thought it was very funny. ReplyDeleteI think they were both bad because if he would'nt have dropped the record he would'nt. "In the story Manuel dropped the record and he thought didn't brake it but he did".

ReplyDeleteI think both of Manuel's experiences are bad but I think that the flashlight was worse. I think so because that time everyone was laughing at him when the flashlight didn't work but during the talent show everyone was laughing with him. Just like in the story when it said, "But Manuel fell asleep confident that nothing would go wrong this time. That proves that it would be OK.

But I think the flashlight problem was worse because the story said,"He pressed until his thumb hurt and some of the kids in the back started snickering. At least in the record experience, the record didn't break and the audeince laughed in an aproving way.
ReplyDeleteI think the flashlight was worse because he kept on showing people. When he showed his class all the battery was out, some of the peoploe snickerd. When he was on stage people thought he was messing up the song on purpose. So it wasen't as embassing."Easy, dad. I used laser tracking with high optics and low funtioning decimals per channel". He was making the most of a embassing situation.
ReplyDeleteI think that manuel was excited and a little show off because when it was time to do his report on how a flash light works the battery was burnt out and he couldn't do his report any more and when he enterd the talent show it was more emberresing because he had to mouth the word again and again "And the record got stuck and I had to sing par bailar la bamba over and over."
ReplyDeleteI belive that the talent show was worse than the homemade flashlight. Manuel thought so too. It even saqys in the book,"This was worse than the homemade flashlight. At least no one laghed, they just snickered. thought Manuel." But he made the best of the bad situation, and that was good. So, the talent show was worse than the homemade flashlight, in my opinion. But I think Manuel thinks the some thing, as well.

ReplyDeleteI think the record was worse because he was on stage in front of the whole shool's parents repeating,"Para bailar la bamba" four times.Manuel's experience with the flash light was different because it produced light and the record made music.They were similar because they both got messed-up from practicing to much.

I think that manuel really mest up when he was sing becuase the record. he wanted applause as loud as a thunderstorm'and to hear his friends say, "Man, that was bad!"
