Do you agree with Bob's reason for letting the rattlesnake go after it killed the colt? Why or why not? Use a "quote" from the story to support your response.
I do agree because like bob said"sometimes when someone or something came too close, they bit with the fury of fear" it was scared it didnt know it was only trying to protect its self from danger and why would you kill a rattle snake you don't eat them"everything in nature had the right to protect itself esprcialy when it's scared."
I agre and disagree with Bob for letting the rattlesnake go. First, I think Bob was right for letting the rattlesnake go because he has no right to mess with nature. Also he shouldn't mess with nature when it is scared. Here is a quote from the story to support my answer, "He made no move to kill it. Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, espeically when it was afraid."
I agree because I love nature. Even though it killed a horse I would let it go back to it's home. Also after it killed one horse it left the others alone. Like in the story it said " Bob made no move to kill it. Everything in nature has a right to protect itself, especially when it is scared."
Yes, I do agree with letting the ratttlesnake go after it killed the colt because it was just trying to protect its self from harms way. Also I respect nature like Bob and would not kill a inisent rattlesnake."sometimes, when someone or something come too close, they bite with the fury of fear."Therfor the snake only bit the colt because it got too close to it.
I think that even though most people dont like snakes that you shouldn't kill it because it killed something else. I think it was a good decision for Bob to leave the colt because he couldnt do anything about it. The colt would have died any way."He made no move to kill it.Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especially when it was afraid."
I have to say that that I agree becuase I think that animals have a right to defend themelves. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. " The storm would pass soon. Or it wouldn't. There was nothing to do but wait.
I agree with Bob that he let the snake kill the colt. Here are a couple of reasons why. First it happens probaly everyday and it is snakes food. Second, their a alot of horses and the horses did not hear the snake. " Before she could return to the colt, the stallion bit her again, this time harder."
I agree with Bob's foul move with letting the poor colt die. I also disagree with the action because I don't like killing and stuff like that, but I know that it happens. He let it die because he resspects nature. To prove my point, here's an example for the story, "Bob saw the rattler, as beautiful as a necklace, sliding through the tall grall. Bob made no move to kill it." See where I'm going with this? He didn't kill it because he RESPECTS (If I could underine it, I would) nature.
I think bob was smart to let the rattle snake go. After we read that I thought he should have caught it, but then the rattlesnake would have probally bit him. And "everything in nature had a right to protect its self, especally when it was afraid." I agree with Bob. Ever living thing has to prtect its self. We protect our selfs from germs, and harmfull chemicals by washing our hands and bathing. Rattlesnakes use their tales as a warning, but if the animal or person gets to close BAM it bites them.
I agrre with Bob letting the rattle snake go because everything has its right to protect itself if its scared. For example if I was being robbed I have the right to use self defence. If you kill someone because they were just protecting there self then thats wrong. Even though the rattle snake killed the colt, he had the right to protect himeself. It would be totaly wrong if Bob killed the rattle snake. Bob also dident kill the snake because he respects nature and dosent want to harm it.Heres a qoute from page 535 stating "Evrything in nature has the right to protect itself." heres a nother example stating "Sometimes if came to close they bite with fury of fear."
I do agree with bob like when he said,"Sometimes when someone or something came too close, they bit with the fury or fear." It is true because nature is just trying to protect itself. The snake didn't want to be mean to kill the horse. It was just trying to protect itself from being killed.Like when your afraid of a spider you probobly would kill it to protect yourself.
I agree with bob beacause it was already going to die.He let the rattle snake go becase he doesn't want to harm nature the & he respects nature andwhy would he chase it."already vulture circled the skys"
I do because if he hadnt let it go it could have bit him at any time so yes i agree with Bob. " the colt fell into the ground as the snake bit the horse and broke her leg". So that is why i think it was a good idea to let the snake go.
I dont agree with bob because he could at least tried to save the colt before it died from the snake bite. But after the rattlesnake bit the colt if Bobv tried to pull it away it could of snapped at him."the colt fell to the ground as if she had stepped in a hole and broke her leg."
I think that he will not kill the colt. Becose the colt looked. Down at the coral where the uther cowboys were beging. The morning chores and then turened away.''
I do agree with bob because all kinds of anmals are geting killed and if bob save the horse the other horses will just look at him when something bad is going to happen. The horses would think that he will take care of the things that is dangerous even for bob himself. And then the horses will not flight it own battles"every thing in nature has the right to protect itself, especially if it is scared."
I think it was good what bob did because if he helped the colt he might of got bitten. Also it was good he let nature go as their living. I wonder if he helped the calf would the herd would welcome him in more and not be as careful with him. "everything in nature has the right to protect it self."
i think it was right for him to let it go because the snake was only trying to protect its self."sometimes when someone or somthing gets to close they bit with the fury on fear."
I do agree wtih Bob becuase it almosts die. he let the rattle snak go becuase he dose not want to harm nature & he respects & why would u want to chase it."already vulture circled the shys."
i dont agree with bobs reason. I dont because I think that the rattle snake should not have killed the colt should not be killed yet because it is young. "Bob made no move to kill the rattle snake."
I think he did the right thing.then he would not be able to become th packs leader if he killed the rattle snake."Every living thing in nature has the right to protect its self if it is frightend".
i think Bob did the right thing. If he killed the rattle snak then he woulden't be the packs leader."Everthing in nature has the right to protect its self if it is frightend. In the ends, sense he did not kill the rattle snake he managed to get the mustangs to camp.
i do and i dont agree w/ bobs reson. i dont agree w/ him because he could of done something eles than just watch iit fall 2 the ground. I do agree w/ his reson cuz bob also could of gotten bbbbit by the snake.Although bob did try 2 save the colt."The colt fell to the ground as she stepped into a hole and if she had broken her leg."
I agree with Bob.Its right to let a killer animal go free, even if it has already had killed a victum.Just walk away like nothing happen.Just leave the animal alone."Already valtures were in the sky."
I think that Bob did the right thing because the rattlesnake was just protecting itself. Its not good to mess with nature especailly when its frieghtened. Here is a quote to support my answer,"He made no move to kill it. Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especailly when its afraid." As you can see, nature was keeping itself safe.
I do and don't agree with Bob's reason. I would of been scared of the rattlesnake, but at the same time I'd want to kill it. I understand that he said, "Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especially when it was afaid" but the cold couldn't protect itself, and that applies to the quote. But, it wasn't REALLY the rattlesnakes fault, because it didn't really know what it was doing. I mean, it didn't know it was doing any harm, it was just trying to protect itself. =D
i agree with bob becouse the snake was just trying to protect itself."everything in nature has its right to protect itself".you woldnt want to mess with nature when its frightened.it was trying to be safe and protect itself.
I agree with Bob.Its right to let it go because it did nothing bad it just got scard. If you tryed to go after it you whould die too."Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, espcially when it was afraid."
I agree with bob and don't agree. I don't agree because he was just watching it attack. I do agree because the snake was just trying to protect itself. Also,if you mess with nature when it's scared it could end up biting you."Sometimes when something or someone came to close, they bit with the fury of fear."
I agree that Bob should not have killed the rattlesnake because all animals have the right to live. It was only protecting itself! I do not agree because the rattlesnake might kill some more animals.
