Why do you think tamarins born in the wild do better than tamarins who return to the rain forest after living in captivity? Use a quote from the story to support your 4 sentence answer.
I have to say tamrins that are born in the wild do better because they don't have to relearn their ways of life "they are realesed in cages , where they will grow aucustomed to their new inviroment." see they have a bit of getting used to unlike wild tamrins
I think they do better because they are more famulior to the sections in the rain forest when they live there their hole life then just coming there when they are about three years old.Its like how people move to a new town or city, you barley know the places then how you knew it back from where ever you came from. " Bit by bit the tamarins becomes familar with the rain forest" That states they need to get used to it.
I think yes because they are born there and they get more used to it faster than the ones who return to the rainforest becuase the ones who were held captive have not expierienced real dangers and predators. Also, the ones who are held captive are fed food and don't have to hunt for it. " When the tamarins begin to forage and eat natural foods, the observers reduce their visits to three times a week, then to once a week, and finally to once a month. When the tamarins become independent, all feeding is stopped."
becouse if theyre captive they will learn less about how to protect themselfs.if they ever find danger they wont be able to save themselfs.if theyre born in the wild they will be tought by another tamrin."it would be killed by preditors."so they will be better if they are not captives.
I think because the tamarins that live in the wild are used to the place they are living. The tamarins that live in captivity are used to they way of life in the zoo. It is easier to do something your used to not something new."They are able to deal with surprises, and they dont have to unlearn behaivors that were adequate for zoo life but are useless in the forest."
I think so bcause it is their original habitat and they never left. I mean, the tamarins born in captivity get used to the zoo's ways and they don't know how to defend themselves. When the captive tamarins go back to the wild, they forgot all their old instinks. A lot of them die fast. "But only about 30 percent of all reintroduced tamarins survive more than two years." =D
the tamarins that lived in the wild have been there longer and was born there and they know the rain forset.the captive tamrains where feed and tooken care of and they would have to know new ways of liveing"they are realssed in cages where they will learn there soundings
I think they do better because the tamarins that return have to relearn how to live in the rainforest. The tamarins born in the wild, learn living in the rainforest more quickly because younger ones learn more faster that others. The tamarins that return are released and forgot how to get food and live with their family group."These animals do not have the skills to survive the wild on their own."
I think they do better because they get use to being feed. Also, they are use to the climate and weather in D.C. In which is very different than where they are wild. They also get use to having no predeters that will come after them. " Everything is different: the heat, the tall trees, the noises."
I think they do better because they don't have the habits the zoo keeppers give them. Also, they don't have to have the change of cimate, and weather conditions.in the zoo you always stay warm and heathy, but it is completlly a diffrent place in the wild.Sometimes it's warm and sunny and other times it's cold, rainy, and dark. Babies born in the wild know the dangers and who the predators are and who are prey, what not to eat and what to eat." Today golden lion tamarins are bred in many zoos around the world. These animals do not have the skills to survive in the wild on their own".
I think that the Tamarins born in the wild do better that the ones in captivity. Because the oes that were born in the forest don't have to change their habits in eating, or in climbimg trees. The ones born in captivity have to change all their habits. "Bit by bit, the family becomes familiar with the rain forest, the younger ones adapting faster than the parents."
I think they do better in the wild. I do because they won't move to a whole lot of places. But if they live in a captivity, they will have to move to the rainforest. "Today golden lion tamarins are bred in many zoos around the world."
I think tamarins born in the wild do bettter because they have the same traits as they did in the wild before they got put in zoos. Tamarins born in the have some traits that won't protect them or do anything good in the wild. I also think they do better because they do have a new habitat. Tamarins born in zoos have to get used to their habitat in the wild or they won't survive. Here is a quote from the story to support my answer,"About thirty percent of the reintroduced tamarins survive more than two years."
I think they do better because thay dont have to learn new ways. They are just born with it.They can jump better then the ones in captivity."They are released into cages, where they will grow accustomed to their new surroundings."
I think tamarins that are born in the wild do better then tamairns that were living in captivity, do better because they don't have to change how they were living already."andreia crams bits of food intothe holes. This encourages them to use their finger and nails to extract food." Tamarins in the wild already knew how to do that. they had to teach golden lion tamarins just like the mother tamarins.
I think that the tamarins that weren't born in captivity do better than the tamarins who return to the wild after being in captivity because they don't have to relearn their ways of life and feeding habits. They also might not get used to predators and be killed if they return to the wild after being in captivity for so long. Also in the book, it says,"Only thirty percent of the tamarins that are reintroduced to the wild survive." I believe that tamarins in the wilderness do better.
I think beacuse they get more adaptation to there soroundings.also when there released into the wild they dont know what to do.also they don't know how to escape predators."beyond the cages stalk predators,"
i think that tamrins born in the wild do better because they are used to their inviorment and dont have to change their habbits. unlike the ones that are being reintroduced to the wild."the infants that are born in the wild fair much better than the reintroduced tamerins." i think that the monkeys born in the wild also have more time to practise survivle skills.
I think it is half right and half no right because when they live in the wild they learn where to find there food. Also because they will be able to get used to the forest faster. That is why i think it is right i think it is a little bit bad to let them be there because when they are small they have lots of prayers. "so that is why they take them when they r born so they can learn to defend and then they send them back after they know everything." Although it will take them a little longer to get used to the wild.
I think tamirins that were born in the wild do better than tamirins in a zoo. I think that because they have more expierience. They are way more used to it. The tamirins in the zoo are used to having people in the zoo cut up fruit for them. But, in the wind they have to find their own food.In the book,"Observers watch and record everything the monkeys do,"that is because they are new to the wild.
I think its better that they are born in the wild than return to the rain forest cuz, they'll have many more things to doout there. 1 of the things that is better than returning to the rain forest is they'll learn alotb moore than they will in the rain forest. ALso they will havve more freedom than they will in the rainn foorest.By the time they are alittle older they will need to do things on their own. They will need to do things on their own and will have to protecy trhem selves if theyre predetors in the wild."When Eurepons arrived they cut down the trees to build their own home."
I think tamarins that were born in the wild forgot how to live there. But tamarins that were born in the wild and didnt go to captivity because they have more time to learn what to do in the wild and tamarins that were just born in captivity will be good to becaquse they cold get transford to the wild after a couple of weeks.they could be familar with it after a couple of months.
the golden lion tamarins about a monkey that lives in the forest and peaple like to see them and some peaple take care of them. The monkeys hair is shaped liked a lions head. The peaple who take care of them give them food to eat and give them a home. The peaple give them food and shelter.Thetamarins are dieing beacause of killer bees and preditors
The answer to that question is that wild-born tamarins are used to the dangers of the wild, but the captive-born tamarins are not. When the tamarins from captivity are reintroduced into the wild, they could get killed because they don't know how to defend themselves. On the other hand, the ones from the wild can. Here's an example from the book, "The goal of the The Golden Lion Tamarin Conservatation Program is to have two thousand tamarins living in the year 2025." I hope that they reach that goal!
Because the adults have to get used to the new life and remember their not at the zoo any more. The new borns don't have to since they eather were born in the wild or didn't have time to get used to the zoo life.Plus they will last longer there than their parents."The tamarins will get to know their potenial prey, such as insects and small reptiles and small reptiles that scoot into their cages."
i think that the Golden lion Tamarin should be helled at a zoo because they will allmost be instinked "i think they should keep then their for 2 years and tran then so they could be pepare."
I think they do better in the wild. I think that, because when they are born they are watching the other tamarins. When they are watching they learn how to do the same as the older tamarins do. monkey see monkey do.
I think Tamarins that are born in the wild do better because they have experienced preditors and danger. As the ones in captivity don't have preditors or danger because they are behind bars and other animals can't get through the bars. Also, Tamarins in the wild have trees that are alive, can change over night, and the branches can sway from side to side with wind. As the trees in captivity are fake, the workers at the captivity change the branches at night when the Tamarins are asleep, and the branches can not sway because they are stiff and hard like a rock. Like in the story it said," That instead of branches they put sturdy poles that don't move whatsoever."
